This is a mermaid illustration I did last autumn. I was very pleased with her but didn't really work on the background. Today I've done the sea and the seaweed at the bottom. I don't usually like revisiting old work but she deserved an environment to live in. I think she's ready to go on my website now.

Wow she is cool! Very cute. I know what you mean about revisiting old work. I always tend to feel a bit pressured to keep moving on (and I hate looking at my old work too!)
She is lovely Lucy- very cute and I could see her in a kids book or on a card design.
hello pea. it is good you went back to the old work and now the changes make you feel alot more better about it. i think she looks wonderful. i really like the little fish. could you add a couple more fish to the picture? dx
